Byzantium Blanc de Transylvanie 2011
The vineyards at Sebes in Transylvania are situated in one of the Romania’s oldest and most renowned regions for its dry white wines. Blend of three remarkable varieties, each of them having a distinguished contribution to the final result: the Gewurztraminer brings the floral bouquet and the unique aroma of the variety, the Pinot Grigio provides a robust structure and a lively acidity and the Rhein Riesling gives complexity with its elegant tones of melon and ripe peaches.
A perfect wine for light fish, seafood or other white meat dishes. It can also be served with salads, grilled vegetables, and Asian cuisine dishes.
