Monser Tamaioasa Romaneasca 2013
It is an excellent dessert wine. The smell, characteristic of this grape variety, is quite obtrusive. The taste reminds us of ripe muscat grape. The wine has a healthy, clear appearance, an elegant yellow color with green reflexes. The wine has a rich smell, specific to the grape variety, and reminds us of jasmine, ripe pear, basil flowers, basil leaves, incense, and roses. You can feel a fragile nuance of beeswax. The taste causes a sensation similar to a ripe grape crushed between the teeth. Wine's acidity is superb, and the sweetness does not seem cumbersome. The perfect balance between acidity, sweetness and aftertaste gives us a feeling of fullness, satisfaction.
Usually, it is well associated with desserts, but may be associated very well with French or Japanese appetizers.
